Negotiating in a global marketplace: advantageSPRING in Hong Kong

advantageSPRING in Hong Kong - negotiation skills training

Next week a number of the advantageSPRING UK team will be heading out to Hong Kong to meet with clients, run seminars and deliver workshops. We are seeing continued growth across Asia and are very excited to be expanding our presence in the region this year.

Whilst we are in town, the team will also be undertaking some research and conducting interviews as part of a project re-examining the impact of culture when we negotiate. This issue is something the team routinely cover in workshops and coaching but we wanted to re-visit some of the common stereotypes and mistakes that people make when negotiating across borders to encourage and empower people to approach their international negotiations differently. We will be interviewing high profile business leaders from across Asia to get their specific thoughts and insight and the findings will feed into a seminar later this year in well as making an appearance in our new and exciting project for early 2016 (stay tuned!)...

Natalie Reynolds, our CEO, is also delighted to be hosting a breakfast for The Womens Foundation of Hong Kong as part of the visit. The session will be exploring negative assumptions about women as negotiators and will support the Foundation's work on challenging gender stereotypes.
